    Grass Roots - Volunteering

    Super-charge your Skills

The Grass Roots team at RS are a dedicated team, focused on empowering youth in the engineering and technology space. We support and develop engineering students and young people across the globe, helping them bridge that education and experience gap, between university and the workplace. In short, we help young people get 'work ready.'

Technical skills and knowledge that engineering students gain at university are invaluable, but equally important are Super Skills. They make you stand out from the crowd and give you confidence in both the interview process and workplace, in terms of understanding what employees are looking for and what behaviours you should express. These skills complement your technical ability to make up a ‘well rounded’ engineer.
